Day 3
Well there’s not really much to say. The day went without incident, pissed it down as I climbed a bitch of a road towards aldness. However I did go through bonar bridge and ardgay, a little light humour in Scotland. I stopped in Beauly for the night and to take a rest day, partly to dry out as I got very wet yesterday and to try and rest my legs up a bit. I’m hoping the wet weather will let up a bit. Anyway beauly for the most part is a nice Market town near Inverness. Today I’ve headed into Inverness to try and find some better cycling gloves, hopefully to stop my hands going completely numb after an hour of cycling. It can get a little scary down hill when you can’t tell if your using the breaks or not! Inverness Is alright as cities go, much like truro but a little bigger. Tomorrow I’m heading past loch ness and stopping at invergarry before hitting the west coast on Monday. I’m hoping to see some more cyclists as yesterday when the areas were becoming more built up and populated, there were less cyclists. Which does make the day seem longer.
